We are very proud of our Director Claire Bond, who completed the Dorset Half Marathon yesterday in an impressive time of 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Claire was fundraising for The Oakhaven Hospice Trust based in Lymington, a community based service providing specialist palliative care to patients facing a life limiting illness, running a traditional Inpatients Unit, Day Hospice and Hospice at Home Service. She set herself a fundraising target of £250 and was delighted to raise £320 at the time of the half marathon. Thanks to all those that supported her – anyone who would like to show their support is very welcome to donate via her Just Giving page.
Congratulations to Claire, who has been hindered by a foot injury for the last few weeks of training, and after the success of the Dorset Half Marathon, she plans to run another for the same charity in March!
