I started my recruitment career in 2011, initially providing contingency workforce solutions to the manufacturing and logistics industries. I then progressed into a role within the contractor market in Oxford for Engineering and IT professionals before turning my hand to Accountancy and Finance recruitment in the same geographical area. I ended up in a Team Leader position in my last role before joining Bond Williams in January 2019.
Why did you get into recruitment?
I wanted to get into a rewarding career that was focused on dealing with people and providing a useful service, so thought recruitment was ideal!
What qualifications do you have?
I am a certified recruitment professional having gained my CertRP accreditation from the Recruitment & Employment Confederation in 2012.
What do you think makes a great recruitment consultant?
I think you need to be a good listener and someone who is determined and resilient.
Your biggest achievement at Bond Williams?
I will always be extremely proud of placing my first Engineer within a month of starting my role with Bond Williams.
Your biggest achievement in life?
Becoming a father to my son, Leo, in 2016.

I worked in a Butcher’s shop for about 5 years in my teens!
Motto in life or something you strongly believe in?
Winston Churchill once said: “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” I am a firm believer in that and always try and have a positive attitude.
