The office and commercial sector continues to be an active recruiter and we have noted a number of job roles that are increasingly being advertised. Here are Bond Williams’ top 5 vacancies to fill.

 

  1. Business Development Executive

Those who are driven by hitting or exceeding set sales targets will thrive as a Business Development Executive. You’ll be required to identify and chase up new business opportunities and sell to incoming leads as well as sourcing your own leads. As a Business Development Executive, you will need to be organised with strong negotiation and objection handling skills with the ability to handle high levels of phone calls. Business Development Executives will  be targeted to deal with either B2B or B2C calls and be able to demonstrate the product to its full potential. Expect a starting salary of around £22,000 – £24,000 with the opportunity to earn performance related bonuses and/or commission. On a temporary basis, you would be looking at £11.00 – £13.00 per hour.

 

  1. Marketing Executive

As a Marketing Executive, you’ll be in charge of marketing and sales support materials across the business and develop marketing activity plans to drive the business forward. With an eye for detail and flair for creativity, marketing roles can be exciting and varied with different areas to cover off. Depending on the type of business, a Marketing Executive will be responsible for anything from producing information for campaigns, creating and maintaining company websites to analysing data, submitting progress reports and monitoring marketing activity. A Marketing Executive can expect to earn between £25,000 -£35,000, depending on experience.  Pay rate for this role on a temporary basis will be around £12.00 – £18.00 per hour.

 

  1. Customer Service Advisor

As a frontline employee, you’ll be handling calls, emails and written queries, providing advice and solutions to customers. As well as a working knowledge of the company and its products or services, Customer Service Advisors need to have excellent PC skills and be willing to use an in-house software or IT system. In today’s online world, this may involve engaging in a website’s live chat facility. A polite, professional manner is a prerequisite, as is the ability to handle a volume of enquiries in a diligent fashion. Many Customer Service Advisors now work in a team with targets, so a desire to perform is advantageous. No set qualifications are required but experience in customer service is desirable, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Salaries can be in the region of £19,000 to £25,000, with performance-based perks offered by some companies. For a temporary customer service role, you can expect between £9.50 – £12.00 per hour.

 

  1. Account Manager

You’ll be in charge of nurturing existing relationships, winning new business and upselling – often with a set group of clients who fall under your management. Your core skills will include accurate administration, computer competency and relationships brokering, both within the company and with external clients. Although there are no set qualifications for this type of role, employers will be looking for relevant sales experience, confidence in B2C or B2B markets and the ability to meet targets. A starting salary of between £23,000 and £30,000 is usual, with the ability to exceed this with commission and performance-related pay.  A temporary Account Manager will get around £12.00 – £15.00 per hour.

 

  1. Part time/Full time Receptionist

A Receptionist is generally the first person you see when walking into a company so professionalism, presentation and a welcoming attitude is key for this role as you are the face of the company and give the first impression. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential attributes to have as a receptionist to ensure the smooth running of a business. You will be providing assistance to clients and visitors, dealing with queries and administration duties as well as scanning, copying and distributing post and managing emails. A professional telephone manner and good communications skills will be required, with a pay rate of between £8.00 – £10.00 per hour.
